Several of the CLAUS based tail gas treatment processes point to the need for a Triton gas conditioning filter system. Corrosion is a significant issue with these components.
Catalyst Protection Remove particulate and liquid aerosols from catalyst bed inlet. Triton element system with pre-filter and coalescing functions in a single element.
Compressors Remove solid and liquid aerosols on inlet and capture outlet carryover. Triton element system with prefilter and coalescing functions in a single element.
Amine Contactor Remove particulate and liquid aerosols to prevent solvent contamination. Triton element system with prefilter and coalescing functions in a single element.
Amine Recovery Remove downstream solvent carryover for re-use. Gas particle filter sized for appropriate contaminant size and load.
