Compressor Oil Carryover

Compressor Oil Carryover

Most oil-lubricated compressors throw oil downstream with the compressed gases.  If the oil is not well tolerated by downstream processes, most of the oil can be removed with a Triton 0.1 micron coalescing filter.  Note that it may be necessary to bring down the temperature of the gas in order to get the oil vapor to reach dewpoint so the aerosols can be removed with a coalescing filter.
