Hydrogen Compressor

Diaphragm style hydrogen compressors are very sensitive to contamination causing downtime and high maintenance costs associated with replacing diaphragms.  The contamination in the form of mists, catalyst fines, and other can be eliminated with the use of a Triton filter.  In cases where high temperature gas streams contain particulate, our 5 micron disposable system can handle 700 F process streams.

Many hydrogen plants use reciprocation compressors.  Most reciprocating compressors are lubricated.  The oil carryover typical of these types of compressors is not well tolerated in a hydrogen plant.  It is easy to remove the oil carryover with a 0.1 um Triton coalescing filter placed down-stream of a reciprocating compressor.
